There are a ton of questions without answers parents can ask the whole time.
But… what If young people use technologies to learn a new skill, have fun and meet new friends in a safe place?
That 's what Canguros Artistas does!
Canguros Artistas creates online Acting workshops for young people who wants to:
Learn a new skill: Acting, Filmmaking, Writing, Public Speaking…
Have fun.
Meet new friends from all over the world in a safe place.
In 2021, we created a workshop where we worked on our first online film.
But… How can you make an online film?
For us, it is really important to be organized. We teach the students that not everything is going to be perfect from the beginning and we must work everyday.
We divided the work in three days:
First Day: The students read the script for the first time and chose the roles they were going to play.
Second Day: We worked on Script Analysis where the students understood the feelings and needs of their roles and they took notes. Also we talked about the costumes and make-up of their roles.
Third Day: Day of film! We worked on recording the scenes of our film. The students came to the class knowing their lines, understanding the personality of their characters and wearing beautiful costumes.
Extra Day: Families came into the online class to enjoy the film we worked on during the last three days. It was a great experience to share with!
